So our pal Bill Wilkie (@thunderboxdiaries) put together a little "Thunderbox Directory". A user-generated map of Thunderboxes (campsite wooden outdoor toilets) and their photos. Bill has a vision of creating a useful map showing the locations of thunderboxes that need some attention by whoever attends to them, but I think the best part is just that it's fun! Explore the world of backcountry tripping through photos of wooden toilets. This'll make a great coffee table book someday.
You can explore the directory in the embedded map below and you can click the button to add your own photos. First, find the GPS location either from the information attached to the photo or by finding where the photo was taken on Google Maps, right-clicking and selecting "What's here?" It will give you the GPS coordinates that Bill needs to input it into his map.
